Overview
GDevelop is a cross-platform game engine centered on a visual event system for 2D, 3D, and multiplayer games. Conditions and actions can define game logic without programming, while JavaScript and extensions remain available for deeper customization. It also provides browser/desktop editors and an example/asset ecosystem.

The root LICENSE.md states that Core, the game engine, new IDE, and Extensions are MIT-licensed, while the GDevelop name and logo are exclusive property. Forks and redistribution should treat branding separately.
