Overview

Prismical is a desktop app for recording meetings, lectures, and voice notes, transcribing them locally with whisper.cpp, and organizing the result in rich-text notes with AI skills and optional cloud synchronization.

Choose Local versus Cloud mode with the data boundary in mind

Supplemental curator note

In local mode, Prismical requires no account, stores notes in SQLite, and can record and transcribe on-device. Cloud mode adds sync, sharing, organizations, calendar features, and true speaker diarization. Switching modes resets local data and there is currently no migration between them.
