Overview

Typebot visually combines messages, media, inputs, branching, JavaScript, A/B tests, HTTP requests, payments, OpenAI, and other integrations to build conversational forms and chatbots. Bots can be embedded in web/mobile experiences and results analyzed in real time. Self-hosting is supported, and the latest release checked is v3.19.0.

Current releases use FSL and restrict competing use, so they are not equivalent to conventional open source

Typebot identifies itself as Fair Source. The current FSL-1.1-Apache-2.0 license permits internal and other non-competing uses while restricting commercial products or services that substitute for Typebot or related offerings. Each released version receives an Apache-2.0 future license after two years. Version and release date therefore matter for redistribution, SaaS, and embedded commercial use.
