Features and best fit
Based on official documentation; not hands-on tested · Content checked:
Publish writing without centering accounts and public identities
The project focuses on anonymous publishing rather than social profiles, and lists several independently operated public instances.

Offer Tor hidden-service access in addition to clearnet
The README lists multiple onion endpoints, allowing deployments to provide non-clearnet access paths.

For publishing text without making profile identity or follower graphs the core experience
It fits privacy-conscious writing where the content matters more than a persistent public account.

Application design alone does not guarantee anonymity
Third-party instances have independent policies, while anonymity also depends on server logs, IP exposure, browser identifiers, Tor usage, and infrastructure configuration. Sensitive use should minimize trust and logging. Nonograph uses the Unlicense.

Supplemental curator note
Despite the name, Nonograph is not a nonogram puzzle app; it is an anonymous publishing platform. Public instances are operated by third parties with separate policies, so self-hosting provides the clearest operational control.
