Import only the React icons an application uses
lucide-react is distributed as ES Modules, so individual icon imports can be tree-shaken. Icons render as inline SVG components and accept props such as size, color, and strokeWidth plus standard SVG attributes.

Before adoption
Use another source for brand logos
The project explicitly does not accept brand logos because of legal restrictions, design consistency, and maintenance concerns. Official company or service logos should come from an appropriate separate source.

Review the Feather-derived license notices when redistributing
Lucide is licensed under ISC, while the LICENSE file also identifies Feather-derived icons covered by an MIT notice. Redistribution review should include the full LICENSE text rather than relying only on a single top-level SPDX label.

Supplemental curator note
Its strongest fit is sharing one icon system across multiple frameworks. Brand logos are intentionally out of scope, and redistribution review should include the Feather-derived MIT notices in the full LICENSE file.
