Download the pinned Linux application
On x86-64 Linux with FUSE or AppImage extraction support and about 650 MB of storage, download the official v9.4.0 AppImage.

Create and save an offline document
In a display session, create a document containing “Offline editing check,” save it as office-demo.docx in the current directory, and close the application without connecting a cloud service.

Reopen the saved DOCX
Open office-demo.docx with the same pinned release and verify that its text remains present and editable.
