Overview

Ever Gauzy is a TypeScript business-management platform combining ERP, CRM, HRM, ATS, project/task management, time/activity tracking, accounting/invoicing, and related functions. It exposes headless APIs plus web, server, desktop, and timer apps and can be self-hosted with Docker Compose or Kubernetes. The GitHub latest release as of September 16, 2026 is v111.0.11.

Features and best fit

Based on official documentation; not hands-on tested · Content checked:

Model ERP, CRM, HRM, ATS, projects, and time tracking around shared organizations and permissions

Employees, clients, projects/tasks, timesheets, sales, accounting/invoices, inventory, goals/KPIs, and related domains live in one platform. It also includes multiple organizations, roles/permissions, multi-currency, reporting/analytics, and import/export.

Separate headless APIs, server, desktop, and timer clients to support different deployment shapes

Gauzy Server provides API, database access, and frontend delivery. The Desktop App can run all-in-one or connect to an external server, while the Timer App focuses on employee time/activity tracking. Headless APIs are also a first-class feature.

For teams that want customer, people, project, time, and billing workflows on one extensible platform

It fits agencies, studios, internal teams, and on-demand businesses that want multiple operational domains under shared identity and permissions rather than stitching together several SaaS tools.

Production operations are much broader than the easy demo path; never carry demo credentials or default secrets forward

The demo Compose path uses evaluation credentials such as admin/admin and employee/12345678. Production setup requires strong unique JWT/session secrets and brings in multiple services including PostgreSQL, OpenSearch, MinIO, and Redis. The README also labels the hosted SaaS as Alpha/testing mode, so both maturity and operational scope deserve review.

Supplemental curator note

This is a broad business platform rather than a single-purpose SaaS replacement. The demo is easy, but production expands the operational surface across secrets, databases, search, storage, and other services, so scope modules deliberately.

Try it in 3 steps

  1. 1

    Clone the repository

Evaluate the feature surface using the README demo Compose path, separately from a production deployment.

    git clone https://github.com/ever-co/ever-gauzy.git && cd ever-gauzy
  2. 2

    Start the demo stack

Start the basic API, web UI, and database setup using prebuilt images. This path is for evaluation/demo use.

    docker-compose -f docker-compose.demo.yml up
  3. 3

    Sign in to the demo

These credentials are demo-only. Never reuse them in production; replace JWT/session secrets with strong unique values.

    http://localhost:4200 → admin@ever.co / admin
