主な特徴

standalone・Sentinel・Clusterを同じGo client ecosystemで扱う

通常のClientに加えfailover/SentinelやCluster構成を扱い、command、Pub/Sub、transaction、Lua scripting等をGo APIから利用できます。

connection poolとpipelineで高throughput workloadを構成する

automatic connection poolingとpipeline/transactionを提供し、v9.23.0ではClientごとに専用pipeline connection poolが導入されました。experimentalなautomatic pipeliningも利用できます。

向いている用途

cache・session・queue周辺などRedisを利用するGo backendに向く

cache、rate limit、session、Pub/Sub、stream、distributed coordination等でRedisを利用し、standaloneからcluster構成までofficial clientで統一したい場合に適します。

導入前の確認

v9.23.0からGo 1.26がminimum。pipeline poolとbatch size default変更を確認する

v9.23.0のgo.modはGo 1.26を要求します。9.23.0ではpipeline専用poolが追加され、AutoPipelineOptions.MaxBatchBytesのdefaultが128 KiBになりました。upgrade時はconnection数、memory、latency、pipeline throughputを実負荷で確認し、旧single-pool behaviorが必要ならPipelinePoolSize: -1を検討してください。
